Special Powder Coating Application Areas

Element Special Powder Coatings offers a wide range of metallic effect powder coatings. Unique special effect powder coatings are made using mica and aluminum pigments. Special powder coatings can be applied to metal surfaces such as aluminum and steel. Pre-Treatment Requirements

There should be no oil, rust, or moisture present on the bare metal surface. Surface coating improves adhesion and corrosion resistance.

Curing Conditions

The curing temperatures for these products are designed to range between 160°C and 200°C, depending on the material temperature.

Application Equipment

These coatings can be applied using Corona or Tribo powder spray guns.

Storage Conditions

Store in a dry and cool environment. The maximum temperature should not exceed 25°C, and the maximum humidity level should be 60%. The shelf life is at least 12 months when stored between 5°C and 25°C.

Safety Information

Powder concentrations in the air may ignite through flames or high electrical currents. The flash point of powder mixtures in the air ranges between 450°C and 600°C, so ensure all potential ignition sources are eliminated.
